New Orleans Weekend

Some of you have asked about our weekend with Lindsay and Jim in New Orleans. We were really hoping to have them move back to Nashville with the start of her residency but it looks like she'll be going to Miami. I just keep telling her it's only a delay. I know they will be here soon (not soon enough for me and my family!) We took a few photos but none that I like enough to post! Sorry, Grant!

Grant's mom and dad kept Maggie while we were in New Orleans, sparing her the 8-hour car drive and having a really fun time. Here are a few photos from their visit.
We got the book "Daddy Has the Chicken Pox" at the library. I thought it would be a funny tale about a dad coping with the chicken pox. It was actually really strange and the little girl was afraid her dad was going to have to go to the hospital. Then she said she knew he was better when he started yelling for the remote control. Somehow Maggie loved it! Poor Carol had to read it a million times.
Maggie and Rusty also shared some quality time on the swing.
Carol also made some of her famous oatmeal chocolate chip cookies while she was here, took Maggie to the zoo, and made a few trips to Costco (one of Maggie's favorite places!) I'm so lucky to have such great in-laws!
