Hi everyone-
For those that don't know, Finn was born at home on Wednesday, March 18, at 10:07 pm. Since then he has been diagnosed with a very rare metabolic disorder and is in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU) at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. (By the way, there is no connection to his home birth and his illness - we've been told that they wouldn't have been able to diagnose him at the hospital, if he had been born there, since his symptoms didn't show up for a few days.)
My mom has created a page at www.caringbridge.org to keep people updated about what's going on so please check there for the latest news. Once you get there the page will ask you the child's name and you should put in "finnhoward" (all lower-case, no spaces) and it will take you to his page. You don't have to register to read it but if you want updates e-mailed to you, you'll need to register.
There are also photos on here for those of you who haven't seen any yet.
