In other news, Maggie has now had her first full day in a "big kid" bed. Since she kept climbing out of her crib we thought it must be time! Her crib converted into a toddler bed so she'll be in that until we bump up to a twin bed. I'm just excited about the thought of new linens and redoing her room! The other day I had put her down for a nap and then lay down myself (a rare occurance) but I kept hearing weird things like a lone note from her little piano and a few little knocks and bangs. After thirty minutes I got up to check on her and I noticed that light was shining out from under her door so I decided to go in and see what was going on. I opened the door and saw total mayhem. Her laundry hamper was knocked over, books and dolls were strewn everywhere and she was standing in front of her chair, reading a book that was resting in the seat. She looked up very casually and said, "Oh, hey, mom." Although I tried to get her to take a nap after that she never would fall asleep.

Well rounded
We really want Maggie to be a well-rounded girl and that's why we're pushing both ballet AND computer science on her :)

She is precious. What a big girl! We have potty-trained Ava and she is in an official big-girl bed. She is the official big-girl club! Love, Katie Dodson
