This morning I was reading a blog by one of my favorite writers, Catherine Newman, and I read a paragraph of it out loud to Grant and Maggie. Maggie listened quietly and then said, "Do you want to hear my computer and the things that it says?" And then she ran into Grant's office to get "her" computer keyboard (the one she's playing on in the photo below) and brought it into the kitchen to "read" things from it to us.
Maggie LOVES weddings and went through a kick where she watched my wedding DVD daily. For the past few weeks she's been saying she's going to get married and she's going to have a baby in her belly. I say, "After you get married you can have a baby in your belly" but she corrects me and says, "No, WHEN I get married I'll have a baby in my belly." And we have a whole conversation about it but she's still pretty insistent. Good thing that's a long time from now :)

I'm very glad it's a long time from now too....
The imagination of that little girl is astounding!
Poppy!
So funny. I used to think that when I turned ten I would get married and have a baby too. And drive a car. You can imagine my disappointment when I actually turned ten and realized how little I knew... and you can imagine my disapointment when I turned thirty and realized still how little I knew...
