More TX photos

Maggie had a lot of fun in TX helping Grandma cook and loved any excuse to use the step stool. We also had a breakfast tea party last Sunday before church with myself, Maggie, Grandma and Grandmama (Grant's maternal grandmother). It was very elegant with food on toothpicks, cheese on crackers, and "white tea" (a.k.a. milk) as well as lots and lots of scarf accessories. The adults had coffee in our tiny teacups and Maggie took her white tea with cream and sugar. Grandma set the rules first: we must be very polite, always saying "please" and "thank you" and when we want something we must say, "Could you please pass the sugar?" Maggie was very careful to follow all the rules even into the afternoon, asking me at lunch if I could please pass her the crackers.
Here are lots (but not all) of Grant's family on his dad's side. This photo has his immediate family plus his paternal grandmother, two aunts, two uncles and six cousins (five of whom are siblings from one family). We enjoyed seeing them and Maggie loved hanging out with her "big" cousins.
