One of my favorite writers, Catherine Newman, has a new column up and if you have kids I think you would enjoy reading it.
I love the way she captures the weirdness and sweetness of family life.
(By the way, her daughter's real name is Abigail but they called her Birdy ever since she was pregnant with her before they knew she was a girl, and it has stuck!)
