How good is your memory?

I noticed yesterday that gas here is up to $3.30/gallon and it's costing us about $50 to fill up my 4Runner. It makes me think back to the end of my freshman year of college when gas was $.99/gallon. That's the cheapest gas has been in my memory. What's the cheapest you remember it being? (I know of three women who, if they answer, will definitely come up with the lowest price! It's up to you, Nana, Grandma Austin and Grandma Mathis!)

Don't forget me... I can remember gas being below $1.00 and I can remember the "crisis" where people were lined up to get gas in the late 70's.

Oh my...

Do you remember the Cosby episode where they talk about all the things that were older than either Cosby or Grandpa - Dirt, Lettuce, etc... Funny stuff.

Ok, so I'm older than dirt...but I remember 33 cents when I was in high school and started driving for the first time. I remember how AWFUL we thought it was when it went up to the $1.00 mark!!

Wow, 33 cents! You are the winner so far, Mom! And you sure look awfully cute to be older than dirt :)
