Wha?

The other day Maggie came up to Grant and I with a ziploc baggie on one hand and a bread basket in the other hand. She said, "This is, like, a huge thing and it doesn't have peepee in it and it doesn't have poop in it." That is a verbatim quote.

It really cracks me up when she uses the word "like." Sometimes she'll tell me these very long stories that consist of her saying, "And then I was like, 'what's goin' on' and then he said, 'I like Elmo' and I was like, 'yeah'."

I just have two questions for you:
1) Do I talk like a Valley Girl? Because where else is she getting it from?
and
2) Do you think she is becoming a Valley Girl?

No... she's not becoming a valley girl... she's just becoming a girl :) and if she was a valley girl there wouldn't be anything wrong with that! :) I'm from the valley

"That is like", hilarious!
I bet you laugh at her all the time. I hope she comes up with something REALLY good Friday!

Like, no way...she's not a valley girl. And if she was....she'd be like the extremely brilliant variety of valley girl.

She is too cute!

You're definitely not a valley girl, but really there could be worse things. She could, instead be a mountain woman. Have you seen some of the women that live in the Applachians? Scary.
